Nature sleeps
When the days are becoming shorter, when nature sleeps under the snow-covered surface and you can smell home-made Christmas cookies then the time for you to relax has come. Our farm is the best way to find silence and relaxation in winter as well.
Traditional cottages and natural sledging runs
You can take a walk through the snow-covered countryside or you can go ice-skating on a lake next to our house. If you are a passionate skier or snowboarder you can find the two big ski resorts Plose and Gitschberg-Jochtal. Within a radius of 30 km you can reach other important ski resorts of South Tyrol. Most of the ski resorts have their own toboggan run and the best thing is that you can take the cable car to reach the starting point of the toboggan run.
Skating, skiing & Co.
You may take a hiking tour in winter as well. The traditional mountain cottages offer delicious mountain dishes. And after a nice day or evening in company you can try to get downhill on the sleigh on a natural toboggan run. Furthermore you can enjoy adventures like alpine backcountry skiing, snowshoe hiking or cross country skiing.
Christmas mood
Moreover, during Christmas time there is the so-called “Christkindlmarkt” a Christmas market with traditional handicraft and dishes to enjoy.
Winter wonderland Plose
Plose, the local mountain of Brixen, is an ideal place for winter hiking, tobogganing, skiing and snowboarding. It is situated only 15 km from our farm. With the BrixenCard you can enjoy one ascent and descent per day with the Plose or Pfannspitz cable car free of charge.
